Long term recycling of the original show will become stale, repetitive and dull. Paramount+ announced today that Paul Wesley has joined the season two cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as James T. Enterprise is not yet the person who he is going. This might simply be a slow build to expansion, a laying down of groundwork of more to come, and hopefully this is the case.
